Anthony Hall

Anthony is a UK qualified solicitor enrolled with the Law Society roll of solicitors (qualifying in 1997, not currently practicing as a solicitor) and a New York admitted attorney and member of the American Bar Association (admitted 2002). He is also the Managing Director of Pure Mint Recordings Ltd (www.pure-mint.com) and of Natasha Songs Ltd (music publishers), and has been a writer composer member of the Performing Rights Society (PRS) since the early 1990's.

Anthony has been an active member of the BPI Rights Committee (2005-2009) and IFPI International Legal Committees (ILC) (2007-2009) and sat as a co-opted member of the board of the BPI (between 2007 to 2009). He has also appeared as a specialist legal and business affairs panellist for, amongst others, BACS, BBC Radio 1, MPA and The Miami Winter Music Conference. He lectures part time on the Music Law and Contracts (Business) degree at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford.

Anthony was formerly an in house solicitor for Carlton Television and Chrysalis Television having trained at renowned media lawyers Schilling & Lom (now Schillings). A classically trained pianist and guitarist, Anthony was signed in the early 90’s with his band the Ribbon Tears achieving some success in the UK and beyond. He continues to produce and release new music and enjoys gardening, drawing and reading in his spare time.
